Admittance

Aqua Bond Rafting activities are open to all. You MUST be able to swim and have a good level of fitness. Do not, however, go against any contraindications given by your doctor (back or heart problems etc.). There is a minimum age for some activities.

Signing up

The client accepts the terms and conditions as well as the safety information provided.

In the event of a group booking, the organiser must make each individual aware of the terms and conditions.

Booking

Bookings are only confirmed once a signed and completed Aqua Bond Rafting booking form has been received with a 30% deposit. For group bookings, if there are less clients than initially booked the organiser must inform Aqua Bond Rafting at least 72 hours before the activity date. If this is not done all reserved spaces must be paid for. A confirmation will be sent out as soon as payment has been received.

Cancellations made by Aqua Bond Rafting

For safety reasons, weather conditions, exceptional restrictions (such as the opening of the EDF dam), or if clients do not have a sufficient level of fitness Aqua Bond Rafting reserves the right to modify, adapt or replace the activity with another. In the event of this happening, clients cannot be refunded. Only the company and its guides are entitled to make any alterations to the schedule at any time.

Cancellations made by clients

In the event of one or more clients cancelling:

  • Aqua Bond Rafting will reimburse the deposit if a letter (sent by recorded delivery) is received no later than 8 days before the activity start date
  • The deposit can be transferred to another date in the same year (subject to availabilities) on reception of a letter (sent recorded delivery) no later than 8 days before the activity start date
  • For all cancellations less than 48 hours before the activity, the deposit will not be refunded nor will the activity be moved to another date
  • In case of last-minute cancellation (except presentation of a name specific medical certificate), the due balance must be entirely paid (based on the number of participants indicated at the time of the booking.

Service provided

The trips, timings and distances are only given as a guide. They are an example of what we can offer but are not binding. Some white-water activities are dependent on the opening of the EDF dam: for half-day and full-day trips, please ring the day before to confirm the schedule. The guide has the right to suspend the activity if safety procedures are not respected or if clients are not competent.

Insurance

Aqua Bond Rafting has public liability insurance with MMA which is specific to leading white-water activities. This insurance is included in the price.

Transport

For some activities it is better to meet directly at the start or finishing point. The trip back to the beginning can be done using personal vehicles. However, Aqua Bond Rafting can provide a minibus service to facilitate this. The optional, free shuttle service is independent to the activity itself.
